The first time around, I had a family to support and was laid off from my job, but I refused to give up. I took on whatever clients came my way and viewed myself as a freelancer rather than a business owner. I've learned how to think like a business owner throughout the years. Phoenix is my third (and last) evolution of that first bookkeeping firm.
